We're called the Racquet Club for a good reason! Widely considered "The Best Clay Courts" in Pittsburgh, our staff works tirelessly to ensure our 9 Har Tru courts are always in top shape. Adjacent to the court sits our full service pro shop featuring comprehensive stringing services as well as top brands such as Yonek racquets and Fila clothing. Our Director of Racquet Sports, Keith Salmon, Head Pro, John Kilmer, Assistant Head Pro, Cam Cohen and tennis support staff provide of programs throughout the summer to engage our members.

Drop-In Rates:

Little Grippers:   $12/session                              

Freshmen, Jr. Varsity, Varsity:   $20/session             

Collegiate:   $30/session          

Team: $16/session

 

Summer Pass Rates:

All Passes must be purchased by JUNE 4th by noon!

Little Grippers Pass:    $242 — Covers all Little Grippers Clinics for the summer

Team Pass:                  $416— Covers  all team practices

Clinic Pass:                  $570—  Covers all clinics (Freshman, Jr. Varsity, & Varsity)

*** 10% discount for each additional pass purchased by same family, the 10% discount will apply to the least expensive pass purchased

ADULT TENNIS

Fox Chapel Racquet Club makes adult tennis programs a top priority. We offer a variety of programs which are geared to the level of your ability. We offer clinics, including cardio tennis and doubles strategy, as well as men's and women's nights. We also have Friday night tennis socials and invitationals. JUNIOR PROGRAM

The FCRC junior program is one of Pittsburgh's most respected and longest running programs. Throughout 6 weeks of summer, boys and girls ranging from 5 to 18 participate in a fun, positive, supportive and comprehensive tennis camp designed to help students learn and understand the game of tennis as well as develop skills already acquired. >>more

DIRECTOR OF RACQUETS

Keith has nearly twenty years’ experience as a teaching profession, known for his ability to advance juniors and adults to the next level of play, while bringing his enthusiastic style to club events, clinics and lessons.

Keith was a competitive USTA junior tournament player starting at the age of 12 and achieved a national junior ranking of #12 in the United States at the age of 16.

He attended Saddlebrook Tennis Academy where he was the daily practice partner for Pete Sampras, who was #1 in the world at the time.

At North Carolina State University he was a top player on the acclaimed Division 1 NCCA tennis team for all four years.  He served as varsity team captain and President of the Captain’s Table for North Carolina State Athletics.

He has also traveled throughout the United States and internationally competing in professional tournaments on the ATP tour.
